Konecta has taken another step forward in the world of call centres and BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) services and has purchased the 100% of Allus Global BPO Center, a leading company in the sector in Latin America with a turnover of \u20ac220M at the end of 2015.Konecta has thus become one of the firms that has grown the most in the comprehensive outsourcing services sector and has gone from a turnover of \u20ac12M in 2000 to the 800 it will reach with the new operation.<\/span><\/h5>\n

Konecta buys Allus Global<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Konecta has acquired the leading BPO company Allus Global for \u20ac170M. To do so, the company has previously made a capital increase of \u20ac80M. The current shareholders of the group founded and chaired by the Sevillian businessman Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Pacheco, that is, the French private equity fund PAI Partners, Banco Santander and Pacheco himself, have participated in the capital increase.<\/span><\/p>\n

The purchase of Allus Global is a very important step forward in the internationalisation plan of the group, which already obtains 60% of its operating results outside Spain. In addition to a greater presence in a sector, the industrial sector, in which the Latin American company has its main area of activity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Looking to the future, the company intends to further strengthen its position in the European market through its presence in the UK and Portugal. In the medium term, the company has its sights set on other important countries in the region, such as Germany and Italy.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Earlier this summer, Konecta acquired B-Connect, one of the leaders in call centres and telemarketing in Mexico, and is currently analysing several acquisitions in Spain and Europe as well as in Latin America, a market with great growth potential where the company has a significant presence.<\/span><\/p>\n

Procurement as a means of growth in the BPO sector<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Due to the fact that the BPO sector is very fragmented and it is difficult to grow organically, we are seeing movement in BPO companies worldwide, which are making acquisitions to reach new geographic markets and enter sectors in which they are not so specialised. A clear example is the French company Tessi, which has bought three Spanish companies so far this year: Diagonal Company, BPO Solutions and Imdea Asesores.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the other hand, private equity has realised that these companies have little chance of growing organically and is investing in them with the aim of providing liquidity for them to make acquisitions and increase the value of the company and then sell.<\/span><\/p>\n
