Entre los sectores en los que m\u00e1s crecer\u00e1 el Big data en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os encontramos el sector manufacturero y el sector bancario, seg\u00fan IDC. El venture capital parece que se ha hecho eco de las previsiones y este a\u00f1o ha realizado grandes rondas en el sector. Ya en 2015 las inversiones en empresas de Big data supon\u00edan el 11% del total invertido por el venture capital.<\/span><\/h5>\n

Founded in 2010 in New York, this company has received a total of $147.9M, the latest round of investment closed in January 2016, ($94M), and in February it bought MotorData.<\/span><\/p>\n

BloomReach<\/a><\/span> ($56M), a cloud-based marketing platform that analyses consumer interactions and interprets them semantically. It dynamically adapts to websites to capture existing consumer demand through search, social channels and advertising. In January 2016 it closed its fourth round of funding for $56M. Investors include Bain Capital Ventures<\/a> and to Lightspeed Venture Partners<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Qubole<\/a><\/span> ($30M), is a data analytics platform that allows data analysts to make clusters in the cloud and create ad hoc and\/or batch queries in less than five minutes. This company has already received $50M since 2012, the last one in January 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n

PlaceIQ<\/a> <\/span>($25M), PlaceIQ <\/strong>\u00a0builds audiences based on the places people visit, where they are currently and where they have been in the past. With nearly a billion data points from over 40 data sources, including 500,000 hand-drawn polygons of consumer locations, PlaceIQ helps brands reach audiences in the best spots. PlaceIQ has already achieved over $50M.<\/span><\/p>\n
