At the end of 2015, 9 companies in the expansion phase have debuted this year on the MAB, with a revenue of close to \u20ac100M. This represents an increase in the number of MAB companies of 30% compared to the end of 2014 and shows signs of optimism for 2016, in which companies such as BestPrice have already shown their interest in listing on the MAB.<\/span><\/span><\/address>\n

Tecnoquark goes public on the MAB to achieve international growth <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The latest company to decide to list on the MAB is Tecnoquark, which manufactures automotive and aeronautical dies and aims to raise financing on the stock exchange with two objectives: to invest in machinery that will enable it to produce components for the aeronautical sector and to create a subsidiary in China to manufacture tools for the automotive sector.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tecnoquark is finalising a joint venture agreement with a local Chinese company to manufacture tooling for the production of<\/span>tion of the automotive, in order to reach Asian customers.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It is also taking steps to buy a French company approved and certified to supply the aeronautics industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Tecnoquark also bought the small Catalan engineering company Ingeenious, dedicated to computer simulation engineering before going public on the MAB\" says Diego Gutierrez from Abra-Invest.<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

BestPrice sees Mab listing as a solution for growth<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00d3scar S\u00e1nchez, founder of the hotel chain Bestprice<\/a>,<\/span> He is convinced that his is \u00aba project with a lot of potential, but which needs funding to grow.\u00bb Among the various possibilities for growth, he has opted for a stock market flotation, as he expects this operation to have a \u00abmultiplier effect\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

In other words, in addition to receiving the backing of investors, it should also gain a useful reputation for managing agreements with customers, suppliers, financial institutions and other companies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although he knows that listing on the MAB could entail a potential loss of control and external supervision by new shareholders, he also sees the positive side and states that \u00abit will be an incentive to acquire greater discipline and be more self-demanding\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

The MAB, an unexploited alternative financing for SMEs<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The MAB in Spain is still little known and only 34 companies have decided to take the plunge into this form of financing, which has so much potential. In countries such as Great Britain, the AIM, the equivalent of the British MAB, has more than 1,000 companies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among the advantages of going public on the MAB is the ability to obtain immediate liquidity for<\/span> to carry out growth plans, to optimise financing costs and liability restructuring or as a means of R&D financing.<\/span><\/p>\n

The MAB, due to its requirement for transparency, also improves the company's image with investors, facilitating alliances and M&A operations.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, listing on the Mab allows for an objective valuation of the company as its shares are traded on a market that is regulated by supply and demand.<\/span><\/p>\n
