On the other hand, large Spanish corporations see this situation as an opportunity and are looking for buyers such as Isolus. \u00a0<\/span><\/address>\n

Cerberus buys two wind farms in Catalonia<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The US group Cerberus <\/a><\/span>\u00a0has acquired two wind farms located in the regions of Anoia and Segarra, with a combined capacity of 70 megawatts. The farms belonged to the Civis Corporation<\/a><\/span>with businesses in construction and energy, among other sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to sources close to the operation, the sale of the two wind farms has been favoured by the great interest shown by foreign funds in investing in Spain. In addition, in the renewable energy sector, once the new legal framework has been clarified, a great deal of activity has been unleashed in the sale and purchase of facilities, with the downward revision of premiums for wind and photovoltaic.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0It seems that following this operation, Cerberus could be preparing to acquire other parks in the rest of Spain.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Cerberus, which has its headquarters in New York, has already carried out operations in Barcelona, the last of which was the acquisition in February of the debt collection company Gescobro, which was owned 90% by the private equity firm Miura,\" says Diego Gutierrez of Abra-invest.<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Isolus sells T-solar<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Isolux Cors\u00e1n <\/span>taking advantage of the fact that dozens of national and international investment funds are now looking for opportunities to invest in renewables in Spain, has put the group up for sale. T-Solar<\/span>Isolux's green energy subsidiary.<\/span><\/p>\n

T-Solar is the leader in size of the photovoltaic sector in Spain, and one of the flagships of this sector. Together with the sale of other assets, Isolux Cors\u00e1n, a group chaired by Luis Delso, aims to raise between \u20ac600M and \u20ac700M.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cofides participates in a new ArgoCapital fund<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

COFIDES, S.A<\/a><\/span>has reached an agreement with Argo Capital Partners<\/a><\/span> to participate in a fund for the development of renewable energy projects in Chile with the participation of Spanish companies.<\/span><\/p>\n

The fund will finance companies operating non-conventional renewable energy generation plants, with a particular focus on biomass, biogas and mini-hydro technologies.<\/span><\/p>\n

The duration of this fund, which will finance the participation of leading Spanish companies in these technologies in the construction of renewable projects in Chile, will be for a total of 10 years and will be used for projects that help to promote energy self-consumption, reducing the companies' bills and contributing to regional development.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Magnum capital divests in Iberwind <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Magnum Capital <\/a><\/span>has sold together with its partners the Portuguese renewable energy company Iberwind, in a transaction valued at \u20ac1,000M. Corc\u00f3stegui's group held 65% of the company's capital, while the rest was in the hands of a group of investors.<\/span><\/p>\n

The purchaser was Cheung Kong Infrastructure Holdings Limited, the largest infrastructure company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and Power Assets Holdings Limited.<\/span><\/p>\n
