According to Cbinsight, in 2014 alone, investment in cybersecurity was $2.5 billion and more than 240 deals were completed. In Spain, we have also witnessed that investors are pinning their hopes on the sector. In less than a month, two Spanish companies have received funding: Buguroo and AlientVault, and the first accelerator for cybersecurity companies in Spain has been created.<\/span><\/address>\n

Buguroo<\/span><\/span> ha recibido una ronda de financiaci\u00f3n de \u20ac3M liderada por Inveready, a la que han acudido tambi\u00e9n Grupo Ticnova<\/span><\/a>, STS Inversiones y\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Cube Ventures<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Con esta inyecci\u00f3n de financiaci\u00f3n Buguroo quiere\u00a0llevar a cabo su plan de expansi\u00f3n m\u00e1s inmediato: apertura de nuevas sedes (San Francisco antes de final de a\u00f1o y Londres en Q1 2016), desarrollo de nuestras herramientas y contrataci\u00f3n de un nuevo equipo directivo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Burguroo es un fabricante multinacional de soluciones de seguridad cloud que actualmente desarrolla y comercializa tres soluciones de software: bugScout, un analizador est\u00e1tico de c\u00f3digo; bugBlast, una herramienta de detecci\u00f3n de vulnerabilidades en los activos de las empresas; y bugThreats, una plataforma de ciberinteligencia que analiza la red de manera continua para disponer de protecci\u00f3n frente a ciberataques antes de que se produzcan. Actualmente est\u00e1 presente en m\u00e1s de 25 pa\u00edses y con una facturaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de \u20ac2 millones y un crecimiento anual superior al 100%<\/span><\/p>\n

AlientaVault recibe \u20ac52M en una ronda liderada por <\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Institutional Venture Partners<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

AlientVault ha recibo una ronda de \u20ac52M en la que han participado inversores como Institutional Venture Partners (IVP)<\/a>, Trident Capital,<\/a> Kleiner Perkins Caufield<\/a> & Byers y GGV Capital<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAlienVault es un ejemplo de caso de \u00e9xito en la internalizaci\u00f3n de una startup espa\u00f1ola, \u00a0naci\u00f3 en 2007 en Madrid bajo el nombre de \u201cOpen Source Security Information Management. En 2009 entraron en el capital varios socios capitalistas, como\u00a0la tecnol\u00f3gica Teldat<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0(<\/span>Antonio Garc\u00eda Marcos), el Gobierno espa\u00f1ol a trav\u00e9s de un pr\u00e9stamo de CDTI y el fondo hispano-luxemburgu\u00e9s Adara Venture Partners.\u00a0 Poco despu\u00e9s se mudo a EEUU para poder abrirse a nuevos mercados. Posteriormente tambi\u00e9n han entrado en su capital tres de los principales fondos norteamericanos,\u00a0Triden<\/span>t<\/span><\/a>\u00a0,\u00a0<\/span>Sigma<\/span><\/a>(<\/span>inversores de Vignette o Electronic Artes) y\u00a0Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers<\/span><\/a><\/span>\"says Diego Gutierrez of Abra-Invest<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

INCIBE pone en marcha la primera Aceleradora Nacional de startups en Ciberseguridad<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

El Instituto Nacional de Ciberseguridad (INCIBE<\/a><\/span>), ha puesto en marcha un programa destinado a impulsar la creaci\u00f3n de empresas innovadoras en el \u00e1mbito de la ciberseguridad.<\/span><\/p>\n

El proceso de aceleraci\u00f3n de proyectos y startups tendr\u00e1 lugar\u00a0entre el 1 de septiembre y el 15 de diciembre de 2015.<\/strong> Los proyectos se dar\u00e1n a conocer en el CyberCamp 2015, el evento de referencia en el sector de la ciberseguridad que tendr\u00e1 lugar los d\u00edas 26 al 29 de noviembre en el BarclayCard Center de Madrid.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0De las iniciativas presentadas\u00a0<\/strong>se seleccionar\u00e1n 5 proyectos \/ startups para el proceso de aceleraci\u00f3n,<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>bajo los criterios de: innovaci\u00f3n en productos o servicios, escalabilidad, (modelo de negocio potencial y escalable comercialmente y geogr\u00e1ficamente), experiencia de los miembros de los equipos presentados y potencial de mercado del producto o servicio presentado.<\/span><\/p>\n
