In the last month we have seen how health 2.0 startups in Spain such as Psious, Top Doctors and iGlobalMed have received funding to grow and gain a foothold in the international market. This is a sign that our country is gradually joining this trend that is growing in countries such as the USA.<\/span><\/address>\n

Psious receives a round of $1,5M<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Psious<\/a> <\/span>is a Barcelona-based startup that offers psychological treatments based on Virtual Reality that has just received a $1.5M round led by\u00a0Silicon Valley Rothenberg Ventures<\/span> and which was also attended by other investors from Singapore and Spain.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Psious offers medical treatments based on hyperealistic audiovisual resources designed by psychologists for use in exposure treatments: Virtual environments, Augmented Reality, 3D Videos and Audios, to overcome fear of flying, fear of needles and claustrophobia among others.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Following its success at the accelerator\u00a0RIVER<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/a>The objective of the round is to accelerate product development and position the company as a world leader in the field of virtual reality medical treatments\". Says Diego Gutierrez of Abra-Invest<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Top Doctors receives \u20ac1.1M<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Top Doctors<\/span><\/a><\/span>\u00a0is a website that helps users to identify and access consultations with the most reputable and top-notch medical specialists in Spain, Mexico and the USA.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Company has just completed a financing round in which it has participated. Inveready<\/a> and has been led by the American company Castle Connolly Medical Ltd.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The round will be used to pursue the international expansion of its model to other countries in Europe and Latin America.<\/span><\/p>\n

iGlobalMed<\/span><\/a><\/strong> receives 300,000 euros of investment\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

iGlobalMed<\/span>\u00a0<\/a>is a website that offers health services with doctors and clinics in Spain.\u00a0iGlobalMed<\/span><\/a>\u00a0connects patients who do not have a mutual insurance company and who want a second opinion or who are on a waiting list with the best doctors, generating a benefit for both.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

iGlobalMed<\/span><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0has received \u20ac300,000 in investment with the participation of business angels such as Carlos Blanco (COnector, Marcos Alves (ElTenedor); Jorge Blasco (Boutiquesecret); Santi S\u00e1nchez (Openshopen) as well as several business angels from the ESADE-BAN network and Venture Capital funds such as\u00a0Sitka Captial<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/a>Civet<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
