New funds selected<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Los nuevos fondos seleccionados, que\u00a0 tienen el compromiso de invertir en Espa\u00f1a \u20ac669M, se dividen en 4 categor\u00edas: fondos capital expansi\u00f3n, fondos venture capital y \u00a0a\u00f1adiendo como novedad en esta\u00a0 nueva convocatoria los fondos de deuda y los fondos de incubaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

The expansion capital funds chosen are: Bridgepoint Advisers<\/a>, MCH Private Equity Investments <\/a><\/span>and Talde Gesti\u00f3n.<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Venture Capital are Cabiedes & Partners <\/span><\/span>e\u00a0 Inveready.<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Alteralia Management and BTC Investments<\/a> <\/span>2012, have been the first debt funds to be selected and Major Key <\/span>and\u00a0 Suanfarma Biotech<\/span> <\/span>hatcheries.<\/span><\/p>\n

Twenty-three funds applied for this call, of which a large percentage (44%) were international funds.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"The high participation of international funds is a sign of the confidence that these funds have in our country, overcoming the situation of 2009 and 2010 where international investors disappeared\" says Diego Gutierrez of Abra-Invest.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Impact of fond-ico on risk capital<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The ICO <\/span>is driving venture activity in our country by encouraging private investors to contribute the remaining 60-70% of each fund. In the first half of 2014, the amount raised by private equity funds in Spain was \u20ac2,112m, compared to \u20ac514m in the first half of 2013.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fond-ico has already prepared its fourth call for applications<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The fourth call will be launched on 28 November and the submission of documentation will be on 16 January.<\/span><\/p>\n

En esta convocatoria no participar\u00e1n fondos de deuda porque \u00abno parece el momento\u00bb debido a las medidas que ha adoptado el BCE.<\/span><\/p>\n
