Within the framework of the Spanish National Integral Tourism Plan (PNIT), the Secretary of State for Tourism announced the Emprendetur Programme for young entrepreneurs, focused on financing R&D projects related to technological innovation and tourism with the aim of supporting research and development applied to products in the tourism sector. It seems that this November 2014 a new call will be opened in similar terms to the previous one.<\/span><\/address>\n

 <\/p>\n

Requirements for beneficiaries<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

According to the previous call for applications, beneficiaries must be natural persons resident in Spain who are under 40 years of age at the time the application is submitted or legal entities in which the average age of the partners is equal to or less than 40 years of age. These beneficiaries must prove that they meet the following economic solvency criterion: the sum of their assets and rights, including credits to third parties, is greater than the sum of their debts increased by 50 percent.<\/span><\/p>\n

They must be SMEs incorporated in Spain at the latest in the 24 months prior to the application.<\/span><\/p>\n

Types of projects eligible for funding<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Energ\u00eda y sostenibilidad (gesti\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica, renovables, eficiencia, reutilizaci\u00f3n agua, etc…).<\/span><\/p>\n

TIC (tecnolog\u00edas m\u00f3viles, gesti\u00f3n contenidos, realidad virtual y realidad aumentada, etc…).<\/span><\/p>\n

Materiales de construcci\u00f3n (aislamiento, reciclaje de materiales, rehabilitaci\u00f3n, etc…).<\/span><\/p>\n

Humanidadas, sociedad y CC. Jur\u00eddicas (living labs, cadena de valor, desarrollo de indicadores, etc…).<\/span><\/p>\n

Transporte y servicios asociados (transporte sostenible, Orientaci\u00f3n al usuario de las TIC, etc…).<\/span><\/p>\n

Business management (Network infrastructures, software and hardware customisation, IT management, etc.)<\/span><\/p>\n

Informaci\u00f3n, etc…).<\/span><\/p>\n

Accesibilidad (desarrollo mejoras t\u00e9cnicas y tecnol\u00f3gicas, etc….).<\/span><\/p>\n

Fundable concepts:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Among the expenses\u00a0 fundable<\/strong> we find: rental or leasing costs, other operating costs, including costs of materials, supplies and similar products directly deriving from the activity of the project, Staff costs, consultancy\/external collaborations and overheads (maximum 20 % of the total staff costs of the project, without justification).<\/span><\/p>\n

Characteristics of the aid:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The aid will take the form of repayable loan<\/strong>The total eligible budget, which may not exceed the amount of the entity's net assets at the time of the application, up to a limit of 1,000,000 euros.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The interest rate will be 0.967 %, and repayment will have to be made within 5 years, including a 2-year grace period.<\/span><\/p>\n

Estimated application deadline<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The deadline for applications has just opened on\u00a0\u00a002 December and will close on 2 February 2015.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
