The Basque Government and the Provincial Councils have launched a plan to support entrepreneurship with the aim of fostering the culture of entrepreneurship, increasing new business ideas and focusing on intra-entrepreneurship, as well as complementing the support plans for entrepreneurs and encouraging the emergence of new entrepreneurs.<\/span><\/address>\n

\nAreas of action of the Plan<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The plan envisages support for all phases of entrepreneurial activity, with special emphasis on support for intra-entrepreneurship processes within companies:<\/span><\/p>\n

- Intra-entrepreneurship: support for entrepreneurial activity carried out by existing SMEs with the aim of generating or maintaining competitive advantage.<\/span><\/p>\n

- Ideas and new entrepreneurial initiatives: help with the necessary steps to start up an entrepreneurial initiative such as access to financing and the location of the initiative, procedures for setting up the company.<\/span><\/p>\n

- Growth, consolidation and transfer of SMEs.<\/span><\/p>\n

- Entrepreneurial culture and values: actions to promote the entrepreneurial spirit and training in economic aspects.<\/span><\/p>\n

- Integration of the support ecosystem (policy, infrastructure and financing)<\/span><\/p>\n

The Plan foresees an investment of 266 million in the period 2013-2016.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
