Although there are a large number of investors<\/strong> In the sector, there are two that stand out for having carried out a large number of operations. These are Cabiedes and Partners and Caixa Capital Risk.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cabiedes and Partners\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/span>has participated in a total of 12 companies related to information technology between 2013 and the first half of 2014. These companies are dedicated to very different activities, from a website to buy costumes such as Funidelia, to a platform where you can learn different skills through videos, such as Funidelia.\u00a0Floqq.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If we take into account the total amount invested, the list of the most active investors changes radically, with Cabiedes and Caixa Capital Risk giving way to\u00a0Seaya Ventures<\/span><\/a><\/span>,\u00a0Axon Partners Group<\/span><\/span>\u00a0 and\u00a0Bonsai Ventures Capital<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0whose investment profile is geared towards larger, expansion and growth stage operations rather than seed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Type of rounds: early-stage and growth funding<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The majority of the rounds have been rounds in expansion stage companies (48%) and seed capital (37%).<\/span><\/p>\n

The entry of new funds with more contributions, such as Kibo Ventures, Active Venture, Nauta, Bullnet or Seaya Ventures, has boosted investments<\/strong> start-ups, which until now had been difficult to obtain. This is very important for the competitiveness of Spanish technology, which had difficulties to grow due to the impossibility of raising rounds at more advanced stages.<\/span><\/p>\n
