Leading Spanish-speaking Nubelo has attracted $1.7M to date.<!--more--><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<h5><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Elance_y_oDesk_los_lideres_anglosajones_se_fusionan\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Elance and oDesk: the Anglo-Saxon leaders merge<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Generating a lot of controversy among their users, the two leading online freelance recruitment platforms have recently announced their merger.\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\">Elance<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>has received a total of $94M of <strong>funding<\/strong> and\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\">oDesk\u00a0<\/span><\/span>$44M. \u00abLa mayor\u00eda de las posiciones en estas plataformas est\u00e1n orientadas a profesionales de IT donde la reaalizaci\u00f3n del trabajo en remoto es m\u00e1s habitual y los per\u00edodos de los trabajos m\u00e1s cortos. Part of the investment has been dedicated to the acquisition of the Brazilian competitor Prolancer, which has more than 50,000 registered users. Nubelo has announced its objective to open in the US in 2014 to connect the demand for Spanish-speaking professionals from US companies due to the increase in Spanish-speaking consumers.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Voice_Lamda_y_otras_plataformas_especializadas\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Voice, Lamda and other specialised platforms<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In all sectors, there are companies that know how to see the niches that are not covered by the volume leaders. This is the case of<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"removed_link\" title=\"http:\/\/getlambda.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\">\u00a0Lamda\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>which aims to meet the dissatisfaction of highly qualified professionals who receive a lot of low-priced offers on large portals, which wastes a lot of their time and trivialises their qualifications. Lamda only accepts bids for jobs with a minimum income of 100$\/hour.
