Part of the difference stems from the reduction in capital increases of more than \u20ac1m, from 14 to 7.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, 55 more operations were carried out, bringing the total to 335. 211 were classified as new and 124 as extensions.<\/p>\n<p>The volume of investment in <strong>VC accounted for 7% of total investment.<\/strong> 74% in the number of operations.<\/p>\n<p>El <strong>average amount<\/strong> of each operation was <strong>244.000\u20ac<\/strong>The figure for new investments was \u20ac222,000, compared to \u20ac305,000 in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>The investment made in VC by <strong>publicly owned entities<\/strong> was reduced by 12% to reach a total of <strong>36.6M\u20ac<\/strong> in a total of 206 transactions (+34% vs. 2011s1). Private operators conducted 129 transactions (38.5% of the total) for \u20ac41.5M.
